Al Safa Co. for Engineering (Cow Sheds)

Client Overview: Al Safa Co. for Engineering is a prominent player in the Egyptian construction and agricultural development sector. Operating in Fayoum, a region historically known as the “Garden of Egypt” and a vital agricultural hub, Al Safa specializes in delivering large-scale infrastructure projects that support the nation’s food security and livestock industries. Their work focuses on modernizing agricultural practices by moving from traditional farming methods to advanced, industrial-scale facilities.

Project Scope & Execution: Located in Fayoum City, Egypt, this project marked a significant investment in the region’s agricultural capacity, executed in 2018. Roots Steel International was partnered with to handle the design, fabrication, and
execution of a massive complex of modern cow sheds.

Roots Steel International’s Contribution: Livestock facilities of this scale require specialized engineering to ensure proper ventilation, hygiene, and durability against corrosive environments. Roots Steel International delivered a staggering 812 tons of steel structure for this project. We designed wide-span sheds that maximize air circulation and allow for the efficient movement of heavy feeding and cleaning machinery. By providing high-quality, resilient steel structures, we helped Al Safa Co. create a world-class environment for livestock rearing, ensuring high productivity and supporting their mission to develop Egypt’s agricultural output with modern, lasting infrastructure.
