Food Alliance

Food Alliance

Client Overview: Food Alliance is a rapidly growing leader in the Egyptian agribusiness sector, specializing in the cultivation, packing, and export of premium fresh and frozen fruits and vegetables. Established with a “soil to shelf” philosophy, the company manages the entire value chain—from their own farms in Wadi El Natrun to their advanced processing facilities. They are known for delivering high-quality produce, including citrus, strawberries, and table grapes, to over 40 international markets, adhering to strict global food safety and sustainability standards.

Project Scope & Execution: Located in the industrial zone of Sadat City, Egypt, this state-of-the-art packing and freezing facility was a critical milestone in the company’s establishment, executed in 2018. Roots Steel International was entrusted with the design, fabrication, and execution of the facility’s structural framework.

Roots Steel International’s Contribution: Food processing and cold storage facilities demand exceptionally high standards of hygiene and structural stability. Roots Steel International delivered a substantial 630-ton steel structure designed to house Food Alliance’s advanced packing lines and freezing tunnels. We focused on creating a clear span, hygienic environment that facilitates efficient workflow and strict temperature control—essential for maintaining the freshness and quality of frozen exports. By delivering this robust infrastructure, we helped Food Alliance launch their operations with a world-class facility capable of meeting the rigorous demands of international food safety regulators and global clients.
